MoTH is a group of over 1,500 families who live in the Capitol Hill area. School Information Night is an annual open house that is set up as an "information fair," with child care centers, playgroups and cooperative groups, family childcare providers, preschools, and parochial, charter, public and private schools that serve Capitol Hill participating and over 70 programs invited.

This event is an opportunity for parents to learn about school options in an open forum with no set program. Schools and programs will be clustered by childcare, parochial schools, charter schools, elementary schools, and middle schools. An organizational chart will be distributed to attendees.



Getting to St. Peter’s on Capitol Hill

From Virginia
Take I-395 N to Washington. Exit at C St SW (US Capitol). Turn right at traffic light. Take next left onto D St SE. Go 4 blocks. Turn left on 2nd St SE. St. Peter's Church is one block on left, corner of 2nd amp C Sts.

From Maryland/Baltimore
Baltimore/Washington Parkway/MD-295 S. Take East Capitol St NE exit. Veer right onto C St NE. At fork, continue on C St NE. Take slight left onto North Carolina Ave NE. Veer right onto East Capitol St NE. At traffic light, turn left onto 11th St, and take the second right hand turn lane onto North Carolina Ave SE. Continue on North Carolina Ave. You will cross Pennsylvania Ave. At 3rd St, North Carolina Ave becomes D St SE. Continue one block on D St. Turn right onto 2nd St SE. Church is one block on left, corner of 2nd & C Sts SE.

From Maryland/South
Take MD Rt 5 North, which becomes Branch Ave. Take right-hand exit onto Suitland Parkway SE toward Washington. Once on the bridge over the river, get into left lane. Suitland Parkway becomes South Capitol St SE. Stay in left lane until past the McDonald’s (will be on your right). Get into right hand lane. Turn right onto D St SE. Turn left onto 2nd St SE. Church is one block on left, corner of 2nd & C Sts SE.

From Points North
Take I-95 South. At I-495 Beltway interchange, take I-95/495 East. After 4 miles, take exit for Baltimore/Washington Parkway/MD-295 South/Washington. Continue as found in “From Maryland/Baltimore.”

From Points South
Take I-95 North. At I-495 Beltway interchange, stay straight toward Washington on I-395. Note: this area is currently under major construction. Follow any detour signs to I-395 North. Continue as found in “From Virginia.”
