This year’s event will be held in the Hill Center, located at 921 Pennsylvania Avenue SE in the Old Naval Hospital.  The closest Metro stop is Eastern Market on the blue and orange lines.  Parking is available on the street in the surrounding neighborhood. 

MoTH is a group of over 1,500 families who live in the Capitol Hill area. School Information Night is an annual open house that is set up as an “information fair,” with child care centers, playgroups and cooperative groups, family childcare providers, preschools, and parochial, charter, public and private schools that serve Capitol Hill participating and over 70 programs invited.

This event is an opportunity for parents to learn about school options in an open forum with no set program. Schools and programs will be clustered by childcare, parochial schools, charter schools, elementary schools, and middle schools. An organizational chart will be distributed to attendees.

If past years are a sign of success, this event will prove to be a great opportunity to interact with a large number of parents who live on and around Capitol Hill. We are publicizing the event to reach as many families in our community as possible, even those not involved in MoTH. We anticipate hundreds of families will attend this event.
